Medgate UK staff complete mountain challenge to raise money for Cancer Research UK and Birmingham Children’s Hospital

Staff from Medgate UK raised a total of £2050 for charity from completing the recent Three Peaks in 24 hours challenge.
Not being content with sitting still after summiting Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales (that’s 3,407 metres in 1,440 minutes) Maygen Carruthers from Medgate UK marketing team has continued to keep her walking boots on.

To date Maygen has raised an additional £250 after walking 23km across London, crossing 16 of our capital’s most famous bridges, in the pouring rain.
Maygen commented;

“All the money I have raised from this will go to Cancer Research UK so they can continue the amazing work they do which is dedicated to beating cancer. To date they have helped to save millions of lives by discovering new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat more than 200 types of cancer. I am happy to support in any way I can”
