Cohort Software is sponsoring a series of webinars by the Faculty of Occupational Health Nursing, which will consider how health needs assessments can form a framework for improving the quality of OH services over time.  The first webinar will be held on Monday, 29th July and will set the scene by offering practical steps that can be taken by OH teams large and small to define the OH needs of the organisation they work with and develop effective annual improvement plans. It will also look at the importance of data in evidencing improvements.  Further webinars will focus on areas such as health surveillance and new HSE guidelines on respiratory health and these will be announced over the coming weeks.  The webinars will be hosted by the Society of Occupational Medicine (SOM).

Simon Brooks, MD at Cohort Software said, ‘Cohort is delighted to be collaborating with FOHN in this series of webinars.  The aim is to provide practical tips and guidance from high-quality speakers about a range of topics impacting OH professionals.’

Christina Butterworth, trustee of the FOHN and the speaker for the first webinar said, ‘We’re excited to be working with Cohort on these webinars, which we believe will add significant value to our members.  We’re looking forward to sharing best practice from some very seasoned OH professionals and industry experts from other professional bodies.’

Nick Pahl, CEO of the Society of Occupational Medicine said, ‘SOM welcomes collaboration with FOHN and Cohort;  occupational health nurses are a core part of our multidisciplinary membership, further recognised by Professor Anne Harriss becoming SOM President elect at its AGM in June’.

The first webinar will be held at midday on Monday 29th July.  To register, please follow this link: https://som.adobeconnect.com/fohn1reg/event/event_info.html or click here:
